How to Get Trim in Front of the Telly

keeping trimSitting for long periods is not ideal – human beings were designed to stand upright, crouch or perch (believe it or not).

One thing you can try is stretching whilst watching your favourite TV programme. Stand up and take a walk during the ad breaks. If you’re watching your favourite sport; jump up in the air when your team scores (as long as you haven’t got any injuries that would prevent you from doing this). If you’re working for long periods at a computer, spend a few minutes, at least every hour, to stretch and walk around and focus on something distant for a moment to look after your eyes.

If you wear contact lenses - Think 'BLINK' - That means remembering to blink every so often to stop your eyes drying out and getting sore whilst you're concentrating on work.

Go to Physical Health and Fitness in this portal to learn about a whole range of stretching and flexibility exercises that you can do at your desk or in front of the telly.

DID YOU KNOW? It has been reported that 55 percent of all women who exercise in the morning sleep better than those who exercise in the evening.
